Wanted poster for the assassination of General Reinhard q
Heydrich, head of the Nazi police in Bohemia and Moravia,
and chairman of the 1942 Wannsee Conference that
formalized plans for the Holocaust. Heydrich also led in the
organization of Kristallnacht, “The Night of Broken Glass,”
on November 9, 1938. The poster lists the conspirators
(resistance ghters) to be rounded up and executed for
conspiracy in the assassination. The town of Lidice, near
Prague, where Heydrich was assassinated, was leveled in
retaliation by the Nazis; its inhabitants were either shot or
sent to concentration camps.
