Wool trade cloth with glass 
beads, on buffalo hide,
with sinew and porcupine 

quilled rings in the center
of rosettes. Probably a 
chieftain’s blanket worn for 

occasions. An exceptional 
piece of Crow artistry, this 
blanket has been exhibited 

in several museums.
